Description:
1st Season:
Based on a light novel series about the travels of a medieval merchant (Spice) who encounters and befriends a pagan harvest deity named Horo (Wolf). The story forgoes the traditional sword-&-sorcery adventure element to focus on how people lived and did business during the Middle Ages.
2nd Season:
Continuing where the first series left off, it follows Craft Lawrence a experienced traveling merchant and his sharp tongued wolf god companion Horo on their journey to return to Horo's home to the north called Yoitsu. A tender relationship has blossomed between the characters, as they make deals, travel between cities, encounter religious fanatics or vice versa and mostly just do what a traveling merchant has to do to get by.
OVA: A Special OVA episode, was announced to be released before the
airing of the second season. It's called episode 0 and originally will be
bundled with Dengeki Visual Novel "Spice and Wolf: Ohkami To Kin No Mugiho". The
episode 0 will not be aired on TV.
